Every week (well, almost every week), a group of us get together for Thursday night wing night at a local establishment. There is one particular server that we tend to get every week, and she remembers our orders before we can even tell her!
Now, I consider that a sign of great customer service. She has my utmost respect because she sees a LOT of people everyday, but she remembers us.
However, Girl Mercer looks at it differently. She thinks that means that we are losers because we are now considered "regulars". So in honour of that intensely negative attitude, I present to you the latest installment of Word Up:
****
habitue
one who habitually frequents a place
Girl Mercer does not understand that being a habitue will result in better service and happier customers.
